China removes 106 apps from app stores citing privacy violations
China's Ministry of Industry and Information
Technology has removed 106 apps from Chinese app stores citing violations of privacy law. The apps that have been removed include movie review app Douban, karaoke app Changba, and phone reseller Aihuishou. Last month, China's government has ordered 38 apps of various companies, to rectify the excessive collection of personal information.
